Role Description

We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer to join our team in Manama. This is a full-time, on-site role. As a Senior AI Engineer, you will be responsible for developing AI models and algorithms that will be integrated into our procurement and sourcing management software. You will need to collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities, provide customized solutions, and work closely with data scientists and software engineers to design and deploy AI pipelines.

Qualifications

• Educational Background:

• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field: Preferably a Master’s or Ph.D. with a focus on machine learning or AI.

• Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Programming Languages: Expertise in Python is essential. Familiarity with other languages like ,C++, be beneficial.
• Experience with Machine Learning Frameworks: Proficiency in TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, or similar frameworks.
• Knowledge of Large Language Models: Understanding of the architecture, training, and application of LLMs like GPTs, BERT, etc.
• Deep Learning and Neural Networks: Strong understanding of neural network architectures, including CNNs, RNNs, Transformers, etc.
• Data Handling Skills: Experience with data preprocessing, cleaning, and augmentation techniques.
• Understanding of Generative AI Models: Knowledge of generative models like GANs, VAEs, etc.
• Software Development Best Practices: Knowledge of version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), etc.

• Practical Experience:
• Project Experience: Demonstrable experience in developing and deploying AI models, especially generative AI or LLMs.
• Research Experience: Publications or participation in relevant AI research can be a plus.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems using AI and machine learning.

• Analytical Thinking: Ability to think critically and analytically about complex problems.
• Communication Skills: Proficiency in explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
