Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager with a strong background in financial management, consolidation, and reporting. The ideal candidate must hold a CPA or ACCA certification and have prior experience in financial consolidation. Preference will be given to candidates with Big 4 experience who bring a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership capabilities to the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Consolidation
- Oversee the preparation and review of consolidated financial statements for multiple entities.
- Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Manage intercompany reconciliations and eliminations in consolidated accounts.
- Streamline consolidation processes and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.
- Financial Planning and Analysis
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliver actionable recommendations to leadership.
- Financial Reporting
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate policies.
- Lead the preparation of audit-ready financial reports and liaise with external auditors.
- Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure adherence to tax regulations, corporate laws, and financial controls.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks to safeguard the company’s assets.
- Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
- Support professional development and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Management
- Partner with other departments to align financial goals with business strategies.
- Work closely with external stakeholders, including auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.
Qualifications and Requirements
- CPA or ACCA certification is mandatory.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- 5+ years of progressive finance experience, including hands-on experience in financial consolidation.
- Big 4 experience is strongly preferred, especially in audit, financial advisory, or transaction services.
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly present complex financial information.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and drive efficiency in financial processes.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
